Did you know robots make great gifts?

When you give a robot as a gift, you are saying to the recipient: “I know your time is valuable.  Spend it doing something you love rather than doing a mundane chore!”

Before adding products to our offerings, whenever possible, we perform an evaluation first.  The Cleanmate QQ-2 has been evaluated by our qualified staff.

First, lets review the features of the Cleanmate QQ-2.  It comes in two colors

The Adventures of Superbot

In the last "Adventures of Superbot", Fred, the detective, found the place in the fence where Janey was taken.  Clancy heard Fred talking to John and decided to become Superbot.  He called on his inner-self, the 3D hologram, and made a deal with him.  He would becoome Superbot if the 3D hologram, whom he named C-Thru, would help him stay with the Franks.  Clancy became Superbot.  His physique became more human-like.  He had to learn how to walk on human legs.  He began learning about his Superbot powers.  He is able to see visions.  He can turn invisible with a special type of sweat.  Superbot saw a vision of Janey being abducted.  We left off in our story where Superbot is standing by the place in the fence and is having a vision of Janey being abducted…  Read “The Adventures of Superbot” in the previous Paradise Robotics Newsletters:

Superbot saw Janey being abducted in his vision.  The perpetrator was a strong, tall man with muscular build and blond wavy hair.  Janey was hanging around his neck, asleep, apparently knocked out from some kind of drug.  The perpetrator scaled the wall almost effortlessly and dropped to the other side.  Superbot saw him go to a waiting car that sped off.  Obvjously there was an accomplice.  Superbot snapped out of his vision.  Suddenly, he saw John and Fred rounding the corner, so he began to sweat.  Knowing he was invisible, he listened in.

John said, “So you see, there is no way the security system could have failed.”  Fred replied, “Sir, I understand you believe this system is air-tight.  Would you please explain to me how the three spikes at the top of the fence were sawed off?”  John stared at the top of the fence flabbergasted.  “Okay, I see your point.  What do we do now?”  Fred said, “We need to look for clues.  Let’s go to the other side of the fence.” With that, John and Fred took off toward the gate on the other side of the yard.  Superbot thought, “Well, I can save a ton of time if I have a Superbot power that will help me get through this fence.”

First he tried running through the fence.  “Ouch!” he said, as his body hit it with full force.  Then he tried leaping over the fence.  More pain!  Last he tried imagining a hole in the fence he could walk through.  He saw the hole and walked right through!  “That was easy!”, he thought, wishing he would have thought of the last idea first.

Superbot walked right to the spot where he envisioned the car speeding off.  He scoured the ground for clues.  All of a sudden, he snapped into a vision.  He envisioned the getaway driver sitting alone in the car.  The driver appeared to be reading something.  Suddenly, he crumpled a piece of paper into a tight ball, and threw it as far as he could into the woods.  Superbot was able to locate the piece of paper.  It was a handwritten note that said:  Meet me outside the Frank’s place at 305 Woodland

white or green. It has a very sensitive bump sensor at the front of the unit.  It has a detachable remote control stored on top of the unit.  It recharges itself by navigating back to the charger on its own around the perimeter of the room.  It has four nylon brushes at the edge of the unit for corners and one soft cylindrical brush under the unit that is easy to remove for cleaning.  It has a fragrance compartment to release a fragrance into the air.  It has a UV light under the unit to kill germs.  The dust bin is quite large for a vacuum of its size.  The dust bin is very easy to remove and empty.  It comes with three washable and reusable filters and a small brush for cleaning the filter after each use.

The Cleanmate manufacturer recommends using the Cleanmate on floors and non-plush carpets.  We tested the Cleanmate QQ-2 on hardwood floor, tile and non-plush carpet & rugs.

Our first test was on a large hardwood floor kitchen area.  The first step was to move the chairs from around the table.  We set the chairs up as a barrier to prevent the Cleanmate from leaving the hardwood floor area.  The chairs need to be moved for sweeping, so this was no extra work.  We placed the charger base on the kitchen island for the first test.  Since the area was large, we set the time at 80 minutes and let it go.  The Cleanmate moved in a random pattern around the room and also
